America has begun the American Song Contest, a Eurovision-esque show where the 50 states and 5 territories (Plus D.C) compete for the title of “Next Hit Song”. the first qualifying round was this Monday and had Rhode Island win the Jury vote and move on to the final. The by far fan favorite was Oklahoma, who is being represented by a kpop artist
